Trouble will come in the form of Angela Kinsey and Eva Amurri in "New Girl" Season 3. The "Office" and "Californication" actresses will both guest-star in episode 2 of the show's new season.

According to a report from TVGuide.com, Kinsey will play a "cool" teacher at Jess' ( Zooey Deschanel) new school, while Amurri will return as Beth, a competitor woman who works with Schmidt ( Max Greenfield).

Kinsey, best known for playing the dour Angela Martin on "The Office," will play the snobby Rose on "New Girl." Since Rose doesn't like Jess' standard goody-goody demeanor and earnest hard work, she could make the new teacher's life rather difficult.

"She's struggling with the politics," executive producer Liz Meriwether said in an interview. "At the school, there's some mean girl teachers that don't like her there."

Amurri's character of Rose will involve herself in Schmidt's ever more complicated love life. If you recall, the self-defined player found himself caught between two incredible women -- his college girlfriend, Elizabeth ( Merritt Wever), and Cece ( Hannah Simone) -- in the Season 2 finale. While Rose won't be another new girlfriend, she might try to expose Schmidt's double-dealing with the ladies.

"New Girl" Season 3 premiers Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9pm on FOX.
