Nicholas Brendon gets 'Private Practice,' 'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution' renewed

"Private Practice" creator Shonda Rhimes isn't usually one for spoilers, but she's outed the show's latest guest star herself: Nicholas Brendon -- Xander from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" -- is currently filming a guest spot. [ @shondarhimes]

On the heels of its Emmy win for outstanding reality series, "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" has been given a second season on ABC. Oliver will tackle the eating habits of Los Angeles in Season 2. [ ABC]

Robert Halderman, the ex-CBS News producer convicted of trying to blackmail David Letterman, is out of jail. Halderman served four months of a six-month sentence and was given time off for good behavior. [ AP via KTLA]
