On Wednesday (March 7), Cherry testified in the Sheridan's ongoing wrongful termination and battery trial. His testimony included an account of a conversation he had with Sheridan during the show's first season when she called Hatcher "meanest woman in the world," reports Deadline.

And although he described Sheridan as a disruptive presence on the set, Cherry insists that Sheridan's character -- Edie Britt -- was killed off for creative reasons; not because of any differences between Sheridan and himself.

Sheridan also alleges that Cherry "hit her upside the head" during a fight on set. An internal ABC investigation cleared Cherry of any wrongdoing, reports E! Online.
