No Doubt hasn't been back together very long, yet the band is already postponing tour plans, but with good reason! After releasing their first album in over a decade last year, the band promoted it around the world. However, according to a posting on their official Facebook profile, plans for an upcoming tour are being postponed, while they return to the studio.
In the message, the band notes that singer Gwen Stefani was inspired to write new music, while out promoting the album. As the end of the year approached, and No Doubt performed several shows in Los Angeles, they had the idea of starting the new year off in the studio. They began recording in January, and just aren't ready to be done yet. "The new music started flowing with unexpected ease," they say, "After spending three years recording the last album, this new pace feels incredibly exciting."
The band says they're only postponing the tour briefly, with the goal of sharing the new music as quickly as they can. They also promise to keep fans in the loop on happenings in the studio, through videos, Twitter updates, and Instagram photos.
