'Nurse Jackie' hosts another 'Sopranos' reunion; '24' star Carlos Bernard heads to 'Dallas'

- "Nurse Jackie" star Edie Falco and her former "Sopranos" sister-in-law, Aida Turturro, will work together again on the Showtime series this season. Turturro will only appear in one "Jackie" episode, but it's a "pivotal" role. The show has also cast Oscar winner Joel Grey as a patient suffering from dementia. [ Showtime]

Former "24" good/bad/good guy Carlos Bernard has taken a recurring part on TNT's reboot of "Dallas." He's set to play a Venezuelan businessman who has dealings with J.R. ( Larry Hagman). [ Vulture]

In other TNT casting news, Jane Seymour, Peter Weller and Beau Bridges will all guest on the coming season of "Franklin & Bash." Seymour will play Bash's ( Mark-Paul Gosselaar) hippie mom in an episode, while Bridges will reprise his role as Franklin's ( Breckin Meyer) estranged dad in another. Weller will guest in the same episode as Bridges as an aging rock star. [ TNT]

Former "Lost" writer and comic-book author Brian K. Vaughan ("Ex Machina," "Y: The Last Man") has been hired to write the pilot script for Showtime's adaptation of Stephen King's novel "Under the Dome." The book is about what happens to residents of a town in Maine when a force field suddenly cuts them off from the outside world. [ Deadline]

"Hellcats" and "High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale has landed a guest spot on "Raising Hope's" Valentine's Day episode. She'll play a girl Jimmy ( Lucas Neff) pretends to be dating as a way to make Sabrina ( Shannon Woodward) jealous. [ EW]

Miguel Ferrer is a busy man this season. The former "Crossing Jordan" star is joining "NCIS: Los Angeles" in a recurring part as the assistant director of the agency. That role will start once he wraps up his work on "Desperate Housewives," where he also recurs. [ Deadline]
