Octomom Nadya Suleman gets a FOX special

Nadyasuleman_290 Octomom Nadya Suleman signed a deal last month to feature her kids in a reality show that starts filming in September. But she'll be on TV next week too.

FOX will air a two-hour special called "Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage" on Wednesday, Aug. 19. True to its title, the show promises "never-before-seen footage" of Suleman, the octuplets she gave birth to earlier this year and her six other children.

Said footage comes from camera crews that have been following her since the octuplets were born, giving viewers a peek into the "emotional struggles, physical complications and financial burdens" of Suleman's position.

Craig Piligian, a veteran reality producer who's worked on "Survivor" and "Dirty Jobs," is executive producing the special. It also includes footage from RadarOnline, which has been following Suleman obsessively for several months.

The special is separate from the deal Suleman signed last month with production company Eyeworks to follow her and her children. That show, which doesn't have a network home yet, is slated to begin shooting Sept. 1.
