The Octomom, Nadya Suleman, is reportedly being investigated by authorities for welfare fraud. The Los Angeles County Department of Welfare Fraud Prevention and Investigation received a report from someone claiming Suleman made almost $200,000 in 2012, but it still collecting government assistance, TMZ reports.
According to California law, with 14 children, Suleman can collect welfare if she earns under $119,000 a year. If fraud is discovered, Suleman can be prosecuted for it, facing a possible prison sentence of three years or more.
