Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson gets 2 big surprises on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Jamie Anderson became the first female gold medal winner in snowboarding slopestyle when she took first place in the fledgling event at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Tuesday (Feb. 18), she stops by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where she talks about what a roller coaster ride it's been.

"It's pretty surreal," says Anderson, who is basically the Shaun White of female snowboarders. "[But] it's my favorite thing to do, still to this day. ... [snowboarding] brings you into that place of present-time consciousness because nothing matters except for that moment."

Ellen then reveals two surprises for Jamie: An amazing photoshopped giant framed picture of the two of them snowboarding, which Ellen says is the place where Jamie should keep her gold medal safe (there's a case in the back of the frame); and then Ellen brings out Jamie's family, who she hasn't seen since before she left for Sochi. Aww.
