'Once Upon a Time': Captain Hook made series regular; David is Storybrooke's de facto leader

colin-odonoghue-once-upon-a-time-captain-hook.jpg "Once Upon a Time" is really offering up the treats for fans on Thursday (Oct. 4). First off, Colin O'Donoghue (right), the dashing Irish actor cast as Captain Hook, has been made a series regular for the latter half of the season, reports EW. And he hasn't even appeared on the show yet!

Something tells us this means he's going to be quite popular. O'Donoghue's first episode is titled "The Crocodile" and will air Sunday, Oct. 21. In a pre-premiere interview, star Jennifer Morrison teased for Zap2it that Emma might be looking at some romantic love on the show -- could Captain Hook be her man? That'd be interesting.

And below, there are some preview clips of Sunday's episode, titled "We Are Both." It sounds like David is the one everyone is looking to as the de facto leader of Storybrooke, and it's nice to see Sebastian Stan as Jefferson, even if he doesn't think he can help. But the best is Henry -- "Gramps, you gotta use me!"  Heh. Gramps.

"Once Upon a Time" airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
