'Once Upon a Time' family reunites around director Mario Van Peebles

once-upon-a-time-cast-mario-van-peebles.jpgThe Storybrooke family may have been torn asunder on "Once Upon a Time's" fall finale (pass the tissues, we're still not completely over it), but they were back together and all smiles this week on set. Star Ginnifer Goodwin tweets out the above picture, simply captioned, "Nuts."

The stars -- from left, Emilie de Ravin, Josh Dallas, Jennifer Morrison, Rose McIver and Goodwin -- are gathered around Mario Van Peebles, whom some of you may know from "All My Children" or "Damages."

But Van Peebles isn't acting on "Once Upon a Time," he's directing. After previously getting behind the camera for shows like "Sons of Anarchy," "Lost," "Damages" and "Nashville" (among countless others), Van Peebles will be helming the April 6 "OUAT" episode, titled "It's Not Easy Being Green," which we would guess might give us some backstory for new villain, the Wicked Witch of the West ( Rebecca Mader).

"Once Upon a Time" returns Sunday, March 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
