jamie-dornan-once-upon-a-ti.jpgThe "Once Upon a Time" cast and creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz took part in Paleyfest 2013 on Sunday (March 3) in Hollywood, where they dished on what fans can look forward to for the end of Season 2.

Ginnifer Goodwin says of Snow White, "What she is going through is going to shake her self-identity, her self-definition ... she doesn't know who she is. I think that actually opens a lot up for her. She can get in touch with a more evolved way of protecting herself and her family through what's about to happen."

Lana Parilla adds, "I get to dish it right back at her ... it's gonna get pretty intense. We're definitely going to see a different side from Mary-Margaret."

The creators tease tonight's episode, titled "The Queen is Dead," next Sunday's (March 10) episode "The Miller's Daughter," and the following episode, titled "Welcome to Storybrooke" as being crucial to setting up the endgame for the season.

"One of the big things for Season 2 was finding a structure to it that hopefully when all is said and done and you look back on it will all make sense. These episodes are a pivot point that will lead us toward an end run that we're very excited about," says Horowitz.

"'Welcome to Storybrooke'" is an episode we're very excited about where we're going to see the early days of Storybrooke," Horowitz adds.

"We're going to see the first week of the curse," says Kitsis.

And Robert Carlyle adds, "In episode 22, a real game-changer happens with [Rumpelstiltskin] and his son."

As far as teasing more things coming in the future, the creators add that in the flashback to the early days of Storybrooke, Jamie Dornan will return as the Huntsman/Sheriff. And that they have certainly entertained the thought about Emma and Captain Hook getting together.

"I'd like to see it," says Kitsis.

"It could happen," adds Horowitz.

Though Ginnifer Goodwin cracks, "I don't think [Snow and Charming] would be OK with [Emma] being with someone who shared her baby daddy's mother's bed."

Another thing the fans can look forward to is Regina's continuation down her dark path.

"Being good didn't quite work out for Regina ... I think she's really trying to get back to that place, but circumstances kind of take her in a different direction. I think Regina's Evil Queen is going to make a comeback, but in a different way. It'll be exciting to see," says Parrilla.

Finally, the final two episodes of Season 2 are titled "Second Star to the Right" and "And Straight on Til Morning" -- the creators also confirm there are going to visit another heretofore unseen realm this season, so take from that what you will. They also tease that we will be meeting someone from this new realm in Season 3.

"Once Upon a Time" airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
