once-upon-a-time-frozen-olaf.jpg "Let It Go," "Frozen" fans ... Olaf won't be appearing in "Once Upon a Time."

When Arendelle comes to Storybrooke this fall in Season 4 of ABC's fairytale drama, unfortunately there will be no CGI or live-action snowmen. "We won't be seeing Olaf," executive producer Eddie Kitsis tells EW.

EP Adam Horowitz elaborated a little more on why Olaf wouldn't work in this version of "Frozen." "It wouldn't fit, and it's so beautiful, his story in the movie," Horowitz says. "The story we want to tell doesn't involve trying to expand upon that, nor do we think it should."

So while fans will get to see live-action versions of Elsa (Georgina Haig), Anna (Elizabeth Lail), Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster), and whoever Elizabeth Mitchell is playing, there won't be any cheerful snowmen wandering around Storybrooke.

So here's something to cheer up any Olaf fans: The first photos from the Vancouver set of Haig in costume as Elsa. Us Weekly posted the paparazzi photos that have a clear shot of Haig's ice blue gown and long, blonde braid. They're not official in any way but check out the pics here.
