One-year wonders: Which single-season TV shows are your favorite? Vote!
Certain shows -- including "Firefly," "Freaks and Geeks," "My So-Called Life" and "Terriers" -- were no-brainers. But there was a lot of discussion in the Zap2it office about whether "Harper's Island," CBS' 13-episode horror series from 2009, should make the cut. People also threw out titles like "The Nine Lives of Chloe King," "Moonlight" and "The Secret Circle" as well, along with one-off reality shows like "Murder in Small Town X."
We could tell you that picking 22 was purposeful, since that's the number of episodes in a typical broadcast-network season -- and one that most of the shows on our list didn't reach. But it's more of a nice coincidence, and as the internal debate proved, it could have been larger. So we'd like to re-open the voting to you.
The five shows mentioned above that didn't make the first cut, plus a select few others, are in the poll below. You can also add your own suggestions in the "other" line -- we're looking for shows that aren't already in the photo gallery, so you don't have to write in for "Firefly" or "F&G." Voting will be open through Wednesday (July 3), and the Top 5 shows you choose will be added to our list.
Cast your votes in the poll and argue your suggestions in the comments.
