'Orange Is the New Black' star Uzo Aduba loved young Suzanne as much as you did

None of the other actresses were more impressive, however, than the little girl cast as young Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren.

Suzanne's background was explored further in episode 3, with two young actresses cast as child Suzanne. But it was the middle school-aged actress, Eden Wiggins, who stole the show, getting Aduba's Crazy Eyes mannerisms down pat.

"I saw her when I came to work, I was like, 'You are me!' She had her down. She knew Suzanne," she tells Zap2it after the "Orange is the New Black" panel at the ATX Television Festival in Austin.

She continues, "She's the sweetest kid -- not a little [precocious child actress]. I got to watch her, too, which was so useful and interesting to see her performance, and helpful, actually, to see who she was as that younger self. She was remarkable. Her eyes and the posture -- she nailed it."
