When Conan O'Brien decided to have the cast of "Orange Is the New Black" on his show, he might not have realized exactly what he was getting himself into. The payoff is very funny, though.

Before Monday's (Aug. 4) episode of "Conan" began, the host was introduced to his new hairdresser. Laverne Cox, in her role of Sofia from the Netflix series, appeared and wasted no time before slinging playful insults at him. "I don't know who did that wig for you," she jokes, "but you need to get your money back."

She also congratulated O'Brien on being TV's first transgender talk show host. He tried to correct her, though it didn't really work out. Finally, when she was done, the camera panned over to see Andy Richter standing in as Red, telling him he looked ridiculous.

In addition to the sketch and the cast interviews, fans were treated to special opening credits and the show's band decked out in prison uniforms.
