uzo-aduba-getty-critics-choice.jpgWe aren't sure "Orange Is the New Black" is necessarily a comedy, and we aren't sure Uzo Aduba is a guest star, but ... who cares, because she's amazing on "OITNB" and it's terrific to see her win Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series at the 2014 Critics Choice Awards.

Aduba was overcome with emotion, saying of her award:

"Oh my gosh, thank you so, so, so, so, so, so much. I'm already starting to cry, but I'm not going to. I just want to thank the BTJA for acknowledging me in this way. I want to thank [creator] Jenji Kohan for changing my life and for just being such an amazing, amazing writer and for putting something like this on television. I want to thank our family at Netflix and Lionsgate, specifically Ted Sarandos and Cindy Holland. I want to thank our cast and crew, you guys are just so amazing, I love you guys so much. You guys are right there for me every single day and I think you guys are just phenomenal actors. I just love you guys all so much, thank you so much."

"Orange is the New Black" Season 2 dropped on Netflix on June 6.
