Osama Bin Laden videos released by Obama White House
The collection of clips shows, among other things, the leader watching footage of himself on a small TV. Another is a previously unreleased "message to the American people" in which the now-dead al Qaeda leader stands in front of a blue backdrop and condemns capitalism.
No audio -- and no transcript -- was released along with the clips. A senior administration official tells The Washington Post that the government didn't want to give Bin Laden a propaganda platform after his death.
The release of the tapes comes after the White House's decision to not release photos of the dead al Qaeda leader.
