Upon arrival at "Castle Leoch," which is the title of the second episode of "Outlander," Claire (Caitriona Balfe) explains to Mrs. Fitzgibbons (Annette Badland) that Jamie's gunshot wound could become infected if she doesn't tend to it.

Mrs. Fitz doesn't exactly know what infected means until Claire puts it into 18th-century terms, but upon learning that Claire knows how to treat a wound that has become "inflamed," Fitz is duly impressed, calling Claire a "charmer."

She is quite charming, we agree.

"Outlander" airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Starz.
