'Outlander': New trailer from Starz plays up Claire's present

Starz has released a new teaser for its heavily anticipated series "Outlander," and it emphasizes Claire Randall's present as much as the past to which she's transported.

Unlike two previous teasers for the show, which focused on the 18th-century world Claire (Caitriona Balfe), the new clip spends a good amount of time with Claire and her husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies) in 1945 -- before she's mysteriously transported back 200 years. As such, it also plays up the emotional whiplash she suffers in her new situation.

"People disappear all the time. Most are found, eventually," Claire says in voice-over. "Disappearances, after all, have explanations -- usually."

"Outlander," based on Diana Gabaldon's best-selling series of novels and executive produced by Ron Moore ("Battlestar Galactica"), premieres in the summer on Starz. Tweet us your thoughts on the new teaser.
