'Parks and Recreation': Amy Poehler and Bradley Whitford walk and talkAdd to Favorites | Parks and Recreation
"Parks and Recreation" returns to NBC Thursday (April 19), and it's playing with "Live Ammo."
That's the title of the episode, taken from a line in "The West Wing" in which Sam Seaborn (current "Parks" regular Rob Lowe) talks about the speed at which things move in the White House. Turns out that's how the Pawnee City Council operates too -- at least according to Councilman Pillner (guest star and "West Wing" alumnus Bradley Whitford), who's targeting the parks department for budget cuts.
In the scene up above (which you're seeing first on Zap2it), Leslie ( Amy Poehler) tries to get Pillner to change his mind about the budget cuts -- and she does so in a "West Wing"-esque walk-and-talk through the corridors of City Hall.
We won't, alas, get to see a "West Wing" reunion between Whitford and Lowe in "Live Ammo." While Leslie is lobbying for the parks budget (and maybe not considering how that might reflect on her campaign), Chris (Lowe) is taking Ron ( Nick Offerman) to a meditation center. We're sure Ron will be thrilled about it.
"Parks and Recreation" returns to the NBC lineup at 9:30 p.m. ET Thursday, following "The Office." What do you think of the clip?
