The NBC show is hoping to travel to Washington to shoot scenes for its season premiere, TVLine reports. In last season's finale, Ben ( Adam Scott) took a job working on a congressional campaign after managing Leslie's ( Amy Poehler) successful City Council run in Pawnee.

Poehler is also set to film scenes in D.C. as Leslie and Ben try to make their long-distance romance work.

"Parks and Rec" is scheduled to begin its fifth season on Sept. 20.
