Pasquale Rotella: Holly Madison's fiance facing almost 14 years in prison
Holly Madison might be getting married to fiancé Pasquale Rotella on Aug. 14, 2013, but first he has an even more serious date to look forward to. On July 29, Rotella and five other men will have to convince the court that they are not guilty of bribery, embezzlement, conspiracy and conflict of interest, and thus are not deserving of almost 14 years in prison.
Rotella appeared at a pretrial conference related to the case on May 13. There he met with the Los Angeles County District Attorney, who claims that the event planner used $2.5 million in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum funds to pay off city officials. Rotella has hosted raves at the Memorial Coliseum. He is currently out on a $1.8 million bail.
If convicted, Rotella could face up to 13 years and 8 months in prison, Radar Online reports. That's bad news for Madison, who recently gave birth to her first child with Rotella, Rainbow Aurora. Rotella has continued to attest that he is not guilty, while Madison has avoided conversation of her fiance's legal troubles altogether.
