Patrick Schwarzenegger hospitalized following skiing accident, gets stitched up and hits the slopes again
Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, was rushed to the hospital following a skiing accident on March 10. He was treated and released.
The 18-year-old was in Sun Valley, ID when the crash happened. The teen downplayed the incident, but a photo he posted on his Twitter page shows a deep cut in his lower back with a decent amount of blood.
"Little ski accident today. Some bruises and stiches [sic] down back and but [sic]," he writes, while posting a photo of him on a gurney. "Thanks to sun valley doctors for everything."
Proving he's quite the resilient one, Schwarzenegger writes on March 11, "I'm actually feeling really good today, and I even went skiing again today."
Patrick is not the first Schwarzenegger to suffer an injury while skiing at Sun Valley. In 2006, his dad broke his right leg there.
Perhaps they should try a safer sport, like weightlifting.
