Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell: No pre-nuptial agreement?

mccartney-shevell-gi.jpg Paul McCartney's been burned before (ahem, Heather Mills), but apparently all the Beatle needs is love. According to the U.K.'s Daily Mail, McCartney -- who recently proposed to girlfriend Nancy Shevell -- won't be requiring his third wife to sign a pre-nup.

Let's rewind: McCartney was married for more than three decades to Linda (Eastman) McCartney until her death from breast cancer in 1998. Then, in 2002, McCartney married Mills (pictured below) -- a former model and anti-landmine activist .

heather-mills-shorts.jpgAfter having a daughter together, the two split in 2006 and, because of the lack of a pre-nup, went through a rather ugly divorce. Mills ended up walking away from the marriage with a $48.6 million settlement -- a fifth of the $250 million she requested, according to People, but still a hefty sum.

Although McCartney's relationship with Shevell is, reportedly, much more grounded -- the two plan to marry in Shevell's back yard in the Hamptons -- he's again foregoing a detailed pre-nuptial agreement.

According to the Daily Mail, "McCartney's lawyers have drawn up a simple one-page document, saying that in the event that the new marriage fails Miss Shevell won't make a claim on the trust funds of any of his children."

What do you think? Is McCartney a fool (on the hill) for spinning the dice without a pre-nup again?
