Paul McCartney, Nancy Shevell wedding drawing near in London?
McCartney and Shevell posted a notice of intent to marry at London's Marylebone Town Hall back on Sept. 16. This notice, called a "banns" in England, is a British requirement of marriage. It indicates the intended location and is good for a year from the date it is issued.
When the two are wed, whether it is this weekend or not, Shevell will become McCartney's third wife. His first wife, Linda Eastman, passed away from breast cancer in 1998 at the age of 56. The two were married at Marylebone Town Hall in 1969. McCartney's second marriage was to Heather Mills, from 2002 to 2008.
