Paula Abdul won't go 'Dancing with the Stars'

paula-abdul-wi-320.jpg "Dancing with the Stars" has done a pretty solid job of keeping its new cast under wraps, but at least we know one celebrity who won't be joining the show this spring: Paula Abdul.

That's according to TMZ, which cites sources close to the former "American Idol" judge as saying Abdul won't be part of the 10th edition of "DWTS." ABC will announce the participants on Monday (March 1) during the finale of "The Bachelor"; it premieres Monday, March 22.

So far, only Pamela Anderson's name has been widely circulated as a possible contestant -- although new figure skating gold medalist Evan Lysacek and "Deadliest Catch" captain Sig Hansen have both said they'd like to take part.

Speculation about Abdul doing "Dancing with the Stars" began almost immediately after she said she wouldn't return to "American Idol." ABC wooed her, but no deal ever came out of it. She's also reportedly been talking with her "Idol" cohort about the American "X Factor" that launches next year.
