Paula Deen is going to star in a comic book based on her life. The celebrity chef, who has lost much of her food-based empire after admitting use of the N-word, will be the subject of "Female Force: Paula Deen."

The comic, set to be released in October, comes from Bluewater Productions. In addition to Deen's rise in the celebrity cooking world, the comic will detail the chef's rapid fall from grace, Reuters reports. This will be one of a series of comic books based on the lives of celebrities -- past issues have focused on the likes of William Shatner and Ellen DeGeneres.

Bluewater president Darren G. Davis had no apologies for going forward with the Deen-based book. "She really changed cooking -- and Southern cooking -- for women," he said. "We're not jumping on the bandwagon ... She fits in with women like Julia Child and Barbara Walters. We're not going to flambe her."

Following Deen's admission about the N-word during a deposition, the chef saw many of her commercial partnerships quickly dissolve. Food Network terminated her contract, while retailers like Target and Wal-Mart chose to halt sales of Paula Deen-endorsed products.

Even with the comic-book deal going forward, this will not bring in any extra money for Deen. Instead, the company will donate all proceeds from comic sales to a chosen charity.
