People's Choice Awards 2014 best dressed: Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs, Allison Williams and more

peoples-chouce-awards-best-dressed-2014-gi.jpgThere were more misses than hits on the red carpet at the "40th Annual People's Choice Awards," but a few lovely ladies caught our attention in a good way.

"Girls"
star Allison Williams cut a pretty figure in a royal blue, tea length shift dress with a sophisticated take on cutouts at the waist and the shoulders, and earrings and rings by EF Collection.

Nikki Deloach of "Awkward" looked lovely in an easy, gray floor-length Raoul frock. Her post-baby figure is simply stunning.

The hosts of the night's festivities and stars of CBS' "2 Broke Girls," Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, complimented each other on the red carpet in strapless evening gowns -- Kat's a black satin David Meister number with red roses and a hint of cleavage, and Beth's an elegant black-and-white color-blocked Rene Caovilla -- that represent the nuances of their respective personalities.

Another "Awkward" star, Ashley Rickards went monochromatic in an ivory, knee-length cocktail dress with sheer details and a gorgeous collar.

"Mom" star Allison Janney kept it simple and sexy in classic little black dress, proving to the Hollywood newbies that less is more, ladies!
