'Phil Spector' trailer: Al Pacino, Helen Mirren and lots of bad hair in HBO bio-pic

helen-mirren-al-pacino-phil-spector-hbo.jpgJudging by the first trailer for HBO's upcoming "Phil Spector" movie, we should probably expect Emmy nominations this summer for stars Al Pacino and Helen Mirren and their horrible hairstyles.

Pacino plays the title role in the TV movie written and directed by David Mamet focusing on the music producing icon's trial for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson. Mirren plays defense attorney Linda Kenney Baden, who -- judging by the trailer -- struggles with uncertainty over her client's guilt or innocence.

Consider Mirren an early frontrunner for Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries, though Pacino is likely to face stiff competition from HBO's other high-profile movie due this spring: Steven Soderbergh's Liberace bio-pic "Behind the Candelabra" starring Michael Douglas, Matt Damon and even more jaw-dropping wigs.

"Phil Spector" is set to premiere March 24 on HBO. Watch the trailer below:
