A photographer known for shooting and styling the likes of Lindsay Lohan, "Glee" star Heather Morris, and "Parks and Recreation's" Aubrey Plaza is accused by Los Angeles police of sexually assaulting two younger males, after posing as a talent scout.
John Everette Perry, who goes by J. Everette Perry in the world of celebrity photography, lists himself as West Coast Marketing Editor at Paper magazine on his LinkedIn page. An industry source confirms to Zap2it that Perry has worked for the magazine for some time.
The LAPD tells NBC LA that 34-year-old Perry lured a 15-year-old boy into a van outside a fast food restaurant near Hollywood, and sexually assaulted him after asking if he is interested in modeling. Within one hour's time, police say Perry lured another man, 25 years of age into a Starbucks bathroom one block away. Before allegedly assaulting the second man, the LAPD says Perry represented himself as a fashion photographer.
A cursory search of the internet turns up an array of celebrity photos credited to Perry. His famous models include "Big Time Rush" star James Maslow, Alexander Gould of "Weeds" and "Finding Nemo" fame, Lohan, and Plaza, among others. Perry also has styling credits on photos of "X Factor" judge Kelly Rowland and "Community" star Joel McHale.
Perry's own web site prominently features a shoot with Morris. And a video produced by Clevver TV takes a behind the scenes look at a photo shoot by Perry featuring former "Wizards of Waverly Place" star Jake T. Austin that showcases Austin's "more mature side."
Perry's Facebook profile showcases photos of him hanging with his celebrity friends like Brody Jenner and "Super Fun Night's" Rebel Wilson, who Perry writes, "left your knickers at my house."
Police believe there may be more of Perry's victims who have not yet come forward. Perry is due in court Oct. 21.
