Poppy Montgomery back at CBS, Jaime Pressly joins FOX's 'Teenage Daughter'

poppy-montgomery-jaime-pressly.jpgThe latest round of pilot casting includes a familiar face returning to CBS, FOX casting a lead in "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" and NBC adding three actors to its "Prime Suspect" pilot.

These updates come courtesy of Deadline Hollywood, which, we must admit, has pretty much been owning the casting news this pilot season. Here's the rundown:

- Former "Without a Trace" star Poppy Montgomery is returning to CBS in a drama pilot from one of that show's exec producers, Ed Redlich, and co-writer John Bellucci. She'll play an NYPD detective who's blessed/cursed with the ability to remember absolutely everything.

- Jaime Pressly will star opposite Katie Finneran in FOX's comedy "I Hate My Teenage Daughter." The "My Name Is Earl" Emmy winner will play a mom who fears she's raising a Mean Girl.

- "Prime Suspect" has added Kirk Acevedo ("Fringe"), Joe Nieves ("How I Met Your Mother") and Tim Griffin ("Grey's Anatomy," "Fair Game") to its cast. All three will play detectives who work -- somewhat reluctantly -- with Maria Bello's Jane Timoney.

- "Cold Case" veteran Danny Pino has joined NBC's "S.I.L.A.," a drama from "Traffic" and "Syriana" writer Stephen Gaghan that explores cops, criminals and politicians in Los Angeles. Pino will play a detective who's partnered with the lead character.

- And the rest: Beth Behrs will star opposite Kat Dennings in CBS' "Two Broke Girls"; Oscar nominee Janet McTeer has joined FOX's drama "Weekends at Bellevue"; Lana Parrilla ("24," "Miami Medical") will star in ABC's "Once Upon a Time"; Ellen Woglom ("Outlaw") and Ravi Patel ("Past Life") will star in the ABC comedy "My Freakin' Family"; T.J. Miller ("She's Out of My League") has been cast in CBS' comedy "The Assistants"; Claire Wellin has joined NBC's Civil War drama "The Crossing"; Zoe Lister-Jones ("Delocated") will co-star in NBC's Whitney Cummings pilot; and Wes Ramsey ("CSI: Miami") will play a bartender in the Peacock's "Playboy" pilot.
