Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres show off new Beverly Hills home

The Beverly Hills mansion where the couple married has an asking price of $49 million, though it was previously priced at $60 million according to the LA Times. The 9,200-square-foot single-story home sits on a three-acre compound that includes two guest houses and an additional three-bedroom home in addition to the main house. Sounds like a steal at $49 mil, right?

The couple originally bought the place for $29 million from their friend, "Will and Grace" creator Max Mutchnick, when they fell in love with it after visiting him to watch an episode of "American Idol."

This is the seventh home that the couple has lived in in their seven years together.
"We never had a house when I was growing up," DeGeneres says. "We always rented. But my father would dream, and we used to look at houses all the time. I'd pick out which bedroom would be mine and get all excited. The first thing I did when I made money was buy a house."
