Before you know it, it'll be "Morphin Time." The "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" movie has nabbed itself writers and an executive producer, while being developed at Lionsgate.
THR reports a script is in the works from "X-Men: First Class" writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. The pair also have experience with episodes of "Fringe" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."
Meanwhile, Roberto Orci has signed on to executive produce the film. Orci, one of the creators of "Sleepy Hollow" and "Matador," most recently served as executive producer of "The Amazing Spider-man 2." There is still no release date announced for the new "Power Rangers" movie.
