President Barack Obama will return to "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday, Aug. 6. This will mark the sixth appearance for the President on the program.

Obama's history with Jay Leno's late-night program is notable. In March of 2009, he became the first sitting President to appear on late night. Since then, President Obama has returned several times to chat with Leno. The most recent visit was in October of 2012, when a pre-election chat between Obama and Leno resulted in huge ratings for "The Tonight Show."

It probably didn't hurt Obama much either.

There is no information yet on what the President and late-night host will talk about on this upcoming visit. Obama plans to tour the American Southwest surrounding the appearance -- he is scheduled for a speech in Phoenix earlier in that day and a visit to Camp Pendleton the day after.
