President Obama talks Gadhafi, GOP debates with Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show'
The answer is... he doesn't think much of them at all.
"I am going to wait until everybody's voted off the island," he jokes on Tuesday's episode of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." "Once they narrow it down to one or two, I'll start paying attention."
Of course, given the events of last week, Leno spoke to Obama about the death of Moammar Gadhafi. "This is somebody who, for forty years, terrorized his country," the President says. "He had supported terrorism, and he had an opportunity, during the Arab spring to finally let loose of his grip on power, and to peacefully transition to democracy... and he wouldn't do it. You never like to see anybody come to the kind of end that he did, but it obviously sends a strong message around the world to dictators that people long to be free."
