'Pretty Little Liars' star Keegan Allen to make stage debut in 'Small Engine Repair'
A "Pretty Little Liars" hunk is leaving Rosewood for a bit to make his stage debut -- but he's taking the mystery and secrets with him.
Keegan Allen, who portrays Toby on the ABC Family drama, is set to make his professional stage debut this fall in MCC Theater's off-Broadway production of "Small Engine Repair," EW reports.
Allen's character is a college kid who shows up at a repair shop and sets off an "explosion of resentment among the three former high school buddies who regularly meet there under shady circumstances." Sounds like he can draw on his extensive experience with dark intrigue and scheming from his time on "PLL."
Allen joins previously cast James Badge Dale ("World War Z") and James Ransone ("The Wire") as the other two buddies, as well as actor/playwright John Pollono (who also wrote the script).
If you want to catch Allen's stage debut, "Small Engine Repair" begins previews at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in Greenwich Village on Oct. 30, with an official opening set for Nov. 18.
