Prince Charles 'thrilled' to be the grandfather of Kate Middleton's baby
Prince Charles has given his first public reaction to the news that his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton is expecting her first child.
"I'm thrilled, marvelous," the Duke of Cornwall told the press at the launch of Sir Ranulph Fiennes' Antarctic expedition, according to BBC. "It's a very nice thought to become a grandfather in my old age, if I can say so."
Middleton was discharged from King Edwards VII Hospital earlier today after she was hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness. News of her pregnancy broke after she was admitted to the hospital earlier this week. She is reportedly around 12 weeks into her pregnancy.
