Prince Harry on Prince George: I will 'keep him out of harm's way'

prince-harry-royal-baby-prince-george-gi.jpgIt's been a big week for the royal family with the birth of Prince George Alexander Louis on Monday (July 22), the first child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. William's brother, Prince Harry, has finally broken his silence and discussed with reporters what it's like to be an uncle for the first time, People reports.

While speaking with reporters on Thursday at the opening of "The Sentebale: Stories of Hope" exhibition, the new uncle told reporters that when he met his newborn nephew the day before at Kensington palace, the little prince was "crying his eyes out, like all babies."

It wasn't all tears though, as Harry admits that he had his first "cuddle" with his nephew, too. "It's fantastic to have an addition to the family," he says. "I only hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are!"

As for what his duties are as uncle to the future heir to the throne, Harry says that his role is "to make sure he has a good upbringing, to keep him out of harm's way and make sure he has fun. The rest of it I leave to the parents."

And as for which parent Prince George resembles, Harry couldn't say: "I think you can judge that one for yourself. I've no idea."
