'Rachael Ray Show' sued? A rep says they have not received alleged lawsuitAdd to Favorites | Rachael Ray
TMZ is reporting that Christina Pagliarolo, a girl who weighed 260 pounds and took part in a segment for "Rachael Ray" for overweight teens getting in shape, is suing the show for negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Pagliarolo's lawsuit allegedly claims that the "Rachael Ray" trainer made her "run like Forrest Gump," which we assume means "a lot," yelled and screamed at her, and made her hike in hte mountains. The lawsuit reportedly also says that the trainer put Pagliarolo on a Stairmaster and kept increasing the speed until she fell off, then yelled at her for falling off.
Sounds like every week on "The Biggest Loser."
The site is also reporting that teen says she was "a mess" after training, suffering serious injuries. But none of those injuries are specified except "messed up legs."
A rep for "Rachael Ray" tells TMZ, "We haven't received this purported lawsuit but if it does materialize we will defend ourselves against it vigorously and fully expect to prevail."
It all sounds very sketch to us at this point, but we'll keep you posted if anything comes of it. Video of Pagliarolo's segment is above.
