Radiohead to play unreleased song on 'The Colbert Report'
Stephen Colbert is making a run at hitting every point on the super-cool bucket list. Best-selling author? Check. Member of 2010 Winter Olympic team? Check. Appear in Spider-man comic? Check. And now, to seal the deal, Colbert is buddying up with rock legends Radiohead.
"The Colbert Report" will air a double-sized hour long episode on Sept. 26 featuring an interview with the band as well as live cuts from their most recent "King of Limbs" album; among the performances will be an unreleased track entitled "The Daily Mail."
Colbert, in character as always, stated that he "look[s] forward to meeting the Radioheads and leveraging their anti-corporate indie cred to raise brand awareness for my sponsors."
The episode airs Monday, September 26 from 11:30pm-12:30am ET/PT on Comedy Central.
