'Ravenswood's' Britne Oldford: Remy is 'lusting for justice' and truth behind the curse
Meet Britne Oldford, star of the new ABC Family drama "Ravenswood." Britne plays Remy Beaumont, who is on a quest to find out just what is going on in her town.
"[Remy] is the floater of the group, she can sort of hang out with any type of person, she doesn't really cling to one group. ... She is lusting for justice, she needs to find out the truth behind the curse that is haunting the town," says Oldford.
"We all come together at some point and start working together. I think these characters are definitely relatable," Oldford continues. "I think that there is a Luke, Olivia, Caleb, Miranda adn Remy in all schools. You definitely know, I think that I know people who I can compare to certain characters."
And what will keep people hooked on the show? Oldford says all the twists and turns, plus the character relationships.
"Viewers will keep coming back because of the relationships on the show, the love and the bond, plus you never know what is going to happen next. ... It's very unpredictable and very spontaneous," says Oldford. "It's much darker than 'Pretty Little Liars.' It's moody and creepy and there's a huge supernatural element to it, which I adore."
"Ravenswood" premieres Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT before moving to its regular timeslot of 8 p.m. ET/PT on Tuesday, Oct. 29 on ABC Family.
