Several sources tell THR Biderman is stepping down from the fixer series due to hefty financial overruns but will still act as creative consultant for the program.

Showtime has reportedly already started negotiations to bump up current writer and executive producer David Hollander to the head position. His additional TV credits include "The Cleaner" and "The Guardian."

Mark Gordon and Bryan Zuriff will continue on as executive producers for Season 3, which is expected to start production early next year.

This isn't the first time Biderman has bid adieu to a show she created. The writer left cop drama "Southland," when it moved networks from NBC to TNT.
