"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star
Kandi Burrus can make castmate,
Kim Zolciak, into a recording artist, then imagine what she can do with someone who can actually sing?
Her new project comes with a twist: He's openly gay and
Sheree Whitfield's hair stylist,
We're not sure what's more daring - that he's gay or that Sheree may not appreciate having to find a new stylist if his album blows up.
"Lawrence can really, really sing," Kandi says on a recent press call. "Like he's going to do the damn thing like to the next level and I think people are going to be shocked."
Some may wonder why Kandi, who at the time was working on her own comeback album, would take on another person from the show - especially after she admits that she got nothing out of producing Kim's dance hit, "Tardy to the Party."
"I think in the past he felt like he didn't really have the opportunity," she explains. "But now that the opportunity is there, I could see him taking it to the next level. So, if it was somebody like that, a reality star like that that was really going to just go all out to make the project hot or to do everything they can to be serious about their career, then I would do it."
