Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" may be enjoying some drama with its new gal, Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandy Glanville, but according to reports one of the original gals, Camille Grammer, has less bite this season.
According to the New York Post, sources on-set are saying that the woman who caused a lot of strife in Season 1 has toned down quite a bit. That has people wondering if her recent divorce settlement with Kelsey Grammer included some kind of gag order and if their impending custody battle has her holding back. And producers are taking notice.
"Nobody knows what's in that divorce settlement," says a source close to the show. "But I would not be surprised if she could not discuss certain things. She's checking what comes out of her mouth, and the producers are pushing for the cast to be as naughty and as full-on as possible."
Other sources close to Camille say she's playing it smart, so as not to ruin any chances of losing her settlement or any access to her kids.
"She is caught in a real dilemma," says one source. "She wants the attention. But she's not stupid. She's not going to throw away $50 million for some stupid show. She is not going to act crazy and allow Kelsey to use that to argue for full custody of the kids."
There may be another factor at play here. Camille was very vocal after last season about being unhappy about the way she was portrayed and she may be dialing it back to protect herself.
If you were Camille, how would you play this situation out?
