'Real Housewives of D.C.' Michaele Salahi reported missing by husband Tareq
Michaele Salahi, star of epic failure "Real Housewives of D.C.," has been reported missing by her husband, Tareq Salahi. According to Tareq:
"It is our belief as of last night, that Michaele Salahi may have been kidnapped or abducted and being held under duress and forced to tell persons, including authorities she is okay."
According to TMZ, Tareq last saw Michaele at 11am on Sep. 13; Tareq was headed to his winery and Michaele was reportedly heading to a hair appointment. Later that night, Tareq received a unusual call from Michaele originating from an unfamiliar Oregon cell number. On the call, Michaele claimed that she was heading to her mother's. Tareq, suspicious of the call's validity, contacted Michaele's mother who confirmed that she had no contact with her daughter.
Tareq suspects that Michaele had been forced to make the phone call by an abductor. Tareq reported the suspicious call to the Warren County Sheriff's Department who, oddly enough, had already been contacted by Michaele. According to deputies, she informed the department that was she was "OK and just dealing with some 'family issues.'"
Tareq claims that he and his wife have received death threats in the past and that he is "reaching to the public pleaing [sic] desperately for your help."
If the threats are indeed real, then we wish the Salahi family a speedy resolution.
UPDATE: It appears that Michaele was not kidnapped and, in fact, ran off to Memphis with Journey guitar player Neal Schon, as is being reported by TMZ. Schon and Michaela have a past relationship that she describes as "intimate and passionate." We describe the relationship as one involving ample amounts of "Lovin Touchin Squeezin."
