We guess Rebecca Black has found a new favorite day of the week.
The Internet sensation's infamous "Friday" video has been pulled from YouTube after accumulating over 167 million views after she filed a copyright claim. Earlier this week, ARK Music Factory, the record label responsible for "Friday," set the video up as a $2.99 YouTube rental.
On Tuesday, June 14, Rebecca tweeted, "Thanks for all the messages regarding the $2.99 fee added to Friday video, I have NOTHING to do with this!! My Manager and Lawyer are on this and are going to get to the bottom of this!"
"YouTube takes copyright infringement very seriously. When we receive a complain alleging that a video infringes another person or company's copyrights, we remove that video," a YouTube spokesperson tells TechCrunch. "Users who believe that a video was removed in error can appeal the copyright takedown."
