Dylan Walsh, an actor best known for the role of Dr. Sean McNamara on "Nip/Tuck," has booked a recurring guest-star role on the dark ABC soap "Revenge."

Walsh will play Jason Prosser, a hedge-fund manager and a rival to Conrad Grayson ( Henry Czerny), according to EW. Prosser will be a rival to the Grayson family in every possible way -- he has just as much money as they do and has a high style to match. Considering the many legal and financial woes faced by Conrad so far this season, the arrival of a new business rival can't mean anything good.

In addition to his "Nip/Tuck" role, Walsh co-starred in "Unforgettable" as Detective Al Burns on CBS during the 2011-2012 season. He will presumably resume that role when the show returns in the summer of 2013.

Will Jason Prosser be a good guy? How will he cross paths with Emily ( Emily Van Camp)? Does Prosser have anything to do with the Initiative?

Hopefully, more details will come before Walsh first appears on "Revenge" later in Season 2.
