As TVGuide was first to report, Emily's secret revenge sensei, Satoshi Takeda, has been replaced. Mr. Takeda posed as a businessman to infiltrate Greyson Global... and even managed to land himself an invitation to that pivotal engagement party that set the stage for the season. In Season 1, he was played by "Lost's" Hiroyuki Sanada.

In Season 2, the part has been taken over by "Hawaii Five-0's" Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Producer Melissa Loy tells the mag that Tagawa has been fantastic in the role and brings something fresh to the character.

"Geographically, with our schedule being what it is, it was getting a little bit challenging," she says, explaining that Sanada would be filming "The Wolverine" in Australia while "Revenge" needed him. "We would have had to fly him in and out of Australia, but [still] wouldn't have had him on the days we necessarily needed him. We tried to figure out a bunch of different scenarios, but ultimately it was too difficult."
