Production recently started on Sarah Michelle Gellar's new CW thriller, "Ringer," and one character from the pilot looks a little different.

TVGuide reports that the role of rebellious teen Juliet Martin (originally Caitlin Custer) will now be played by Zoey Deutch.

Deutch is the youngest daughter of "Back to the Future" star and TV vet Lea Thompson -- Mrs. McFly, get it? -- and has a resume that includes a part on Disney's "The Suite Life on Deck" and guest roles on "NCIS" and "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior."

There's still no telling how big of a role Juliet, the daughter of Andrew ( Ioan Gruffudd) and stepdaughter of Siobhan (Gellar), will play on the series -- but in the pilot, her character clearly doesn't get along that well with her stepmother.

... or, as it were, her stepmother's twin sister posing as her stepmother.

"Ringer" premieres on the CW, Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 9:00 p.m. ET.
