Robert Pattinson talks homelessness and dirty underwear on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
Well, sort of. "The last time you were here, I think you were homeless, right?" was Kimmel's first question. A fair thing to mention, as Pattinson had previously revealed that he was living out of suitcases, but since he just moved out of his shared pad with Stewart, it could be a touchy subject.
Pattinson took it in stride. "I rented this archway, and I just live behind it. In one of those big trash cans," he says. "I'm finding it very difficult to express myself. I've kind of been living in a trashcan behind an archway for a while." He further explained that he had a couple of cars up for sale -- but if you thought having more than one car is extravagant... don't.
If you're in the market for a 2001 Silverado that's only been crashed a couple of times, Pattinson's your guy. He bought it three months ago off Craigslist to cart bikes around. Unfortunately, his cycling dreams were thwarted when he found out that his favorite lot to park in while he bikes is actually a popular spot for men to meet up for public sex.
"I used to turn up in the parking lot going, 'Why are all these guys like, sitting around in their cars all the time?" he says. "And I'm going there every day kind of thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little lycra pants, and then one day there was a big raid as I was there."
Time for a new hobby, R-Pattz.
"No one ever noticed me," he adds. We bet he's mistaken.
